GAME CHANGE REQUESTS
The York USA Game Change Policy and Procedure is in affect for any teams affected by the April 9th & 10th field closings and who wish to coordinate with their opponent and submit a prefered makeup game date, place, and time. The standard game change fee will be waived for all game change requests submitted to the League Office using the York USA Game Change Procedures and Game Change Request Form.

GAME CHANGE REQUESTS
The York USA Game Change Policy and Procedure is in affect for any teams affected by the April 2nd & 3rd field closings and who wish to coordinate with their opponent and submit a prefered makeup game date, place, and time. The standard game change fee will be waived for all game change requests submitted to the League Office using the York USA Game Change Procedures and Game Change Request Form.

GAME CANCELLATION POLICY
Field and weather conditions occassionally result in game cancellations. Field closures and game cancellations are strictly controlled by York USA. The York USA Game Cancellation Policy, which is distributed in the Club Presidents' and Coaches' Manuals, can be summarized as follows:
- Club Initiated Cancellations
- The home field Club President or designated alternative Club Officer may close a field or cancel a game up to threee (3) hours prior to the start of the game.
- A field may be closed or a game may be cancelled only due to unplayable fiedl conditions due to weather, or if the field owner (e.g., school district, municipality, etc.) notifys the club of a field closure.
- It is then the responsibility of the home field Club President or designated alternative Club Officer President to follow the York USA Game Change Policy to properly notify the league and all opposing team Club Presidents.
- Referee Initiated Cancellations
- The Referee in charge of each game is the only authority who may cancel a game at the field prior to the game's start.
- The Referee may cancel a game, if in his or her opinion, the field is not properly prepared, is unplayable, or if conditions are unsafe.
NOTE: Coaches are not authorized by York USA to cancel games that use League Assigned Referees!
York USA policy is based on the division Age Group / Referee Assignments.
U9 through U19 Age Groups
York USA policy dictates that any game using League Assigned Referees (U9 Age Group and Up) that was:
- played to half-time before being called by the Referee Crew is considered complete; Coaches' Game Reports need to be submitted ASAP.
- started, then called by the referee crew but that did not reach half-time will be rescheduled by the Games Commissioner and played as full length games.
- cancelled prior to being started will be rescheduled by the Games Commissioner and played as full length games.

Generaly, games that are cancelled due to weather conditions are automatically rescheduled at the end of the season by the Games Commissioner. The York USA Game Change Policy and Procedure are in affect for the rescheduled games; affected teams may consult with each other and submit a formal Game Change Request.
U6 thorugh U8 Age Groups

League scheduled U6 and U8 games (games that do not use League Assigend Referees) cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions may be rescheduled at the discreation of the Head Coaches of both teams. York USA policy dictates that any League Scheduled U6 or U8 games that were:
- started, then called at any point during the game by the Head Coaches of both teams may considered complete or may be rescheduled by the coaches at their discretion.
- cancelled prior to being started can be rescheduled by the Head Coaches at their discretion.
