RULE CHANGE, RULE REITERATION
Posted: Friday, October 12, 2007
announce.gif     EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!

During the monthly York USA League Meeting, held Wednesday, October 10th, it was determined that a mandatory rule change was required to address an increase in poor sportsmanhip and lack of civility at our games. Effective immediately, all players, coaches, and spectors assciated with an individual team must be on opposite sides of the field.

This ruling applies to all age groups from Under-8 through Under-19 and reiterates Article III - Conduct, Section D - Spectator Locations and supercedes Subsection 1 concerning Uner-8 games, both as included in the Fall 2007 Coaches Manual. Furthermore, this ruling supercedes any and all associated rules as written in the Fall 2007 President's Manual and Fall 2007 Coaches Directory. In addition, the York USA Executive Board and League Representatives emphasizes that unsportsman-like and uncivil behavior by any player, coach, or spectator, as governed under Article III - Conduct, Section C - Coach and Player Conduct and Section E - Spectator Conduct, will not be tolerated.
All players, coaches, and spectators are strongly encouraged to review the information provded by the EPYSA Civility Program.
